Social media functions as a passageway out of daily life, a means of escapism. My intent in my body of work is to express feelings of social isolation and distrust of media while challenging the contemporary constructs around the social media presence within my generation. Through my choice of materiality in using AI (artificial intelligence) generated art, I represent the loss of identity and the distortion of self in the 21st century.
