Jayden Peter My sentinels

These three sentinels in my body of work, defined by a soldier or guard whose duty it is to protect precious items, firmly stand to preserve my childhood memories, interests and hobbies. These surreal self-portraits represent deep hidden attributes that have been established since I was young. These attributes are expressed in the ceramic form of sentinels to be safeguarded, never to be lost. In each sentinel I have investigated animalistic and mechanical features, paradoxical objects amalgamated to create three protective personal totems.
