Quantum physics is a terrible muse, but has wonderful paradoxes to share. Schrodinger never intended his scientific hypothetical to become an experiment in shadow art, yet he provides a feline foundation for consideration of the fickle nature of reality. The theory of superposition states that, as an observer, you cause multiple possibilities to collapse into one truth. Death or life. In my body of work, with the puppetry of literal litter obscured by a smooth screen, my intent is to peek into the liminal spaces where both life and death thrive. No details needed, just trash allowing itself to exist.
