Many people focus on the exterior of buildings, photographing them and wondering how the outside of the building was built. My attention was drawn to the interior of buildings, which is underappreciated and ignored once the outside has been examined. As a person attempts to connect with the internal structure, it leads them to wonder and start looking up. They can get lost in the details of the ceiling and see how it might connect down to the walls of this extravagant infrastructure. I added hidden words into my photographs, prompting the audience to consider looking up.
