Xpedition X is a journey to the mathematically theoretical planet, Planet X. It is inspired by the novel Nineteen eighty-four by George Orwell, which explores totalitarian society and the lack of freedom. Constant advancements in technology make me consider how technology can be used to control society and the happiness of others. My body of work represents the stormtrooper-like Apollo astronaut leaving Earth with famous artworks to save freedom of expression. Clones in the cryogenic chamber under the ship will maintain and continue life on Planet X.
