Maksim Merkuryev Overgrowth and decay

I have used digital painting to represent a dystopian world that explores evolution. My body of work shows stages of the boy’s journey, leading to his final destination of becoming one with the new world. He is surrounded by creatures with indications of human remains morphed within. The old state of the world is in decay and overgrown with a new life form.
