The devastation of fire in bushland and the regeneration process that follows were central to the creation of my art pieces. They reflect change in the landscape following the destruction of fire. Rejuvenation and regeneration follow as the land does not remain static. My work is in staged sections that need to be viewed in sequence to understand the cycle of devastation and regeneration. I based my work on photographs and visual on-ground analysis of the landscape.
