Daisy Barnes Finding harmony

Music is a vital and intrinsic part of cultural expression and is a powerful tool in helping to promote cross-cultural harmony. These six sculptures, constructed entirely from found objects, are inspired by traditional stringed instruments from around the world. They seek to reflect the harmony that has been found in contemporary Australian society through the assimilation of non-Western ideas in the arts.
