Jasmine Bourchier I wish it would rain
Through my work I am aiming to introduce the audience to the various experiences of living in regional NSW. My work is centred on our reliance on nature and how essential it is to simply add water. Working the land is part of our identity; what will we become if we can no longer do this? I want to question the displacement of the farmer and future generations, as this will become a personal consideration of mine. Time-lapsing events emphasises the lack of progress during drought and this is contrasted to the activity and prosperity that comes with rain.
