Nicholas Andrews Love

Work by Nicholas Andrews

Love tells a story through several intertwined vignettes on the themes of love, gender, fate and consequence. It is a depiction of what I have learnt about human nature: that men and women are equally deadly in design, equally guilty. It is based on the consequences of drink-spiking, unfortunately a problem in our society that is not going to disappear. This film is my interpretation of its effects.

I chose ‘film’ to make a moving painting – the images and music are intended to disturb, much like the people and the substances that create these harsh realities.
